Registered Massage Therapy
RMTs are dedicated to treating your symptoms of pain and dysfunction, including the underlying causes.
It is widely understood that massage therapy decreases stress and helps control pain. Perhaps less known is the effectiveness of massage therapy in treating deeper structures of the body such as ligaments, bones and joints, fascia, blood vessels, organs and other soft tissues of the body.
BC's Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) are among the most educated and highly trained professionals in their field.
Standard educational requirements include comprehensive studies in health sciences such as anatomy, physiology, pathology, kinesiology and neuroanatomy.
Manual Lymph Drainage RMT
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, specialized technique designed to stimulate the body’s lymphatic system and encourage healthy circulation. By promoting the movement of lymph fluid, MLD helps reduce puffiness and fluid retention, ease muscle tension, support detoxification, and boost immune health. Many people find it helpful for recovery after workouts, reducing feelings of heaviness or fatigue, improving skin vitality, and enhancing overall relaxation. MLD is suitable for anyone looking to support their body’s natural balance, improve circulation, and feel lighter and more energized.

Hot Stone RMT
Hot stone massage uses heated, smooth stones that penetrate deep into the muscles to ease tension and relax the muscles while keeping you grounded and comfortable. Benefits include settling the nervous system, relieving stress and anxiety, helping with chronic pain, fatigue and insomnia, muscle soreness after exercise, improve mobility and circulation, as well as helps to ease tense dull or achy areas.
This treatment is covered by extended health insurance.
Good to know: Not recommended for open wounds, recent surgeries, extreme heat sensitivities or certain medical conditions. Please email Julia if you have any questions about booking a hot stone treatment.

Pregnancy Massage RMT
Prenatal massage is designed to address the physical changes the body goes through during all stages of pregnancy. This specialized treatment aims to alleviate common discomfort such as muscle and joint pain, swelling, and fatigue, while promoting relaxation and stress reduction. All treatments are performed by skilled RMTs. Pregnancy cushions are offered so women can lay comfortably and safely on their stomachs during treatment.
TMJ/Intra-oral Massage RMT
TMJ massage therapy is a focused treatment that aims to relieve tension in the jaw, face, neck, and scalp. This treatment is helpful for individuals experiencing jaw tightness, due to clenching/grinding, stress, overall tension or injury. It is also beneficial in eliminating tension-related headaches.
This treatment is performed on the muscles of the neck, face and jaw externally. It will also include intra-oral (buccal) massage, treating the muscles inside of the cheek and mouth. This allows your RMT to access deeper muscles around the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). Benefits include improved mobility, reduced pain/tension, reduced “clicking and clunking” of the jaw and supports your overall wellbeing.
This TMJ treatment is customizable based on your individual needs and goals. Typical TMJ treatment duration is 45min, which includes neck, head and jaw. 60min, 75min and 90min appointments allow for addressing areas of the body additional to the face and jaw.
Please note: We recommend waiting at least 3 weeks after Botox and 6 weeks after dermal fillers before booking this treatment.
